Today’s count, on your Home Screen.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show how many cards are waiting and how many days are left before the exam. Tap one to start studying that deck.

Bring your Anki deck, a spreadsheet or pasted text. FSRS brings each card back as you’re about to forget it, and an exam date paces the new ones so you see them all in time.
Free for one deck and 50 cards. Unlimited is £2.99 a month or £19.99 a year, with a free first week for new subscribers.
Studying
Today’s cards wait in a single pile, each question in your own words. Answer it in your head, then tap to turn it over.
Again, Hard, Good or Easy, each showing when the card would come back. FSRS, the open-source scheduler, sets the date: here Good brings Osmosis back in 3.3 months.
The next card rises and the pile under it shrinks, so you can see what’s left before you read it: 16 to go, then 15.
Why this card, today
Tap ⓘ on any card. Cardetta says why it’s due in a sentence, then shows the numbers FSRS used: how likely you are to recall it now, how long you remember it, and how hard it has been.
The exam date
If there are too many new cards for the days left, the daily number goes up so you finish them with a fifth of the time to spare for review. Reviews due after the exam come forward, here about one a day.
The deck counts the days left and the cards you haven’t seen. Here that’s 7 cards with 23 days to go, which fits the usual 20 a day.
Your cards
Nothing in Cardetta rewrites a card you write. There’s no AI in it, so your shorthand and your notes to yourself stay put.
Hide words in a sentence and number them, and each number becomes a card of its own, with a gap where the word was.
Anki in, Anki out
Open an Anki package from Files, Mail or the share sheet, and its pictures, sounds and cloze cards come with it. CSV files and pasted text work too.
You see the first cards and the count before anything joins your library. Anki’s review history stays behind, so the cards start as new.
Export any deck as an Anki package or a spreadsheet. Bring a Cardetta export back in and it updates the cards instead of doubling them.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show how many cards are waiting and how many days are left before the exam. Tap one to start studying that deck.
Decks and every answer sync through your own private iCloud. Pictures and recordings don’t sync, so another iPhone shows the card without them.
Add a picture from your library to either side of a card, or record how a word sounds.
Each deck shows its retention: the share of reviews you’ve got right over the last 30 days.
There’s nothing to sign up for, and Cardetta’s App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.

Yes. Open an .apkg file from Files, Mail or the share sheet and its cards, pictures, sounds and cloze cards come in. Anki’s review history doesn’t, so the cards start as new. CSV, TSV and pasted text work too.
No account, and your decks work offline on your iPhone. If you’re signed in to iCloud, your decks also sync through your own private iCloud database, which Mirentha can’t see.
The plan stops changing anything and the deck goes back to its own number of new cards a day. Give it a new date for the next exam whenever you like.
Free for one deck and 50 cards, with every feature. Cardetta Unlimited removes both limits for £2.99 a month or £19.99 a year, with a free first week for new subscribers. UK prices; the App Store shows yours.
No. Nothing in the app writes, rewrites or summarises a card. FSRS, the open-source algorithm it schedules with, only decides when a card comes back.
